Our Purpose:

The purpose of Central Bible Church is to worship God and glorify Him with our being.  We have 5 key areas that we must see results in to accomplish this:  Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, Service, & Worship.

1. Evangelism – Jesus came in the flesh so that mankind can come to know the Father.  John 17:3 This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.  In order to accomplish this, God established a sending policy.  John 17:18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 

2. Discipleship – Just before Jesus went back to His throne, He gave us a task, a commission.  Matt. 28:18-20 … Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations …  Discipleship demands that we enter the world and help them see God accurately.  Once they have trusted Jesus as their Savior, our responsibility does not end.

3. Fellowship – At Central Bible Church, we have a blast together.  We meet together as a whole group on Sunday mornings.  People get together all the time each week.  Friends are built and a network of support is fostered.  John 13:35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

4. Service – God expects and love demands that we serve one another.  Jesus demonstrated the extent of that service by washing Judas' feet in John 13. 

5. Worship – The more we know God (Isa. 55:6-9) and the more we understand the extent of His love for us (Eph. 3:14-21) the more that we naturally will worship Him.  Rev. 4:11 Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.
