Because kids matter to god

Awana is a worldwide ministry that seeks to introduce children to Jesus and help them learn

how a personal relationship with Christ will affect their lives not only today but for all eternity.

Awana was founded in 1950 out of the children's ministry at the North Side Gospel Center in Chicago, IL.

Central Bible Church is delighted to have partnered with Awana early-on because for decades we have seen the impact that God's Word coupled with caring relationships and fun can have in the lives of children.

Awana Clubs meet Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m during the school year.

Each club level of Awana provides age-appropriate teaching and activities.

  • Awana IS AN ACRONYM
