Family Conference
"Foundation Principles for Building a Family"
Central Bible Church will be hosting a conference April 18th-20th, 2008 focusing
on the Biblical principles for building a family. This conference will deal specifically
with the marriage and parenting relationships. Understanding God's design and order
in these basic family relationships is so important so that these relationships are
healthy and most importantly are honoring to the Lord. While there is no cost for this
conference, we would ask that you pre-register. Please see pre-registration details below.
Our Speaker
We are pleased to have Pastor Jerry Clark as our guest speaker for this conference.
Pastor Clark is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He has been involved
in Christian ministry for 43 years, and is currently serving as the pastor of
Riverwood Bible Church in Jackson, MS where he has been for 24 years. In
addition to using and teaching these “Foundation Principles for Building a
Family” at his own church and in his counseling ministries, Pastor Clark has had
the opportunity over the last 15 years to teach these principles to Christian
workers and pastors around the world - including places like Germany, Ukraine,
Russia, Siberia, Yalta, Malawi (Africa), and the Philippines . Pastor Clark has been
married for 39 years and has 4 adult children.

Friday, April 18th; 6:00—8:30 p.m. (Adults only please)
- Session 1: “God’s Blueprint For Meaningful Marriage”
- Session 2: “Satan’s Weapons For Destroying A Marriage”
Saturday, April 19th; 6:00—8:30 p.m. (Adults only please)
- Session 3: “How Can I Be The Husband God Wants Me To Be?”
- Session 4: “How Can I Be The Wife God Wants Me To Be?”
Sunday, April 20th
- Session 5 (9:00 a.m.): “The Basic Purposes And Needs Of A Child”
- Session 6 (10:15 a.m.): “The Greatest Dangers Facing Our Children”
- Carry In Dinner to follow the Morning Worship service
- Session 7 (6:00 p.m.): :“Biblical Keys To Healing A Broken Relationship”
Due to some of the discussion that will take place concerning marriage in the
sessions on Friday and Saturday evenings, we would ask that no young children
or teens attend these sessions. To help with this we do have some child programming
available. Jodi Ward, from Child Evanglism Fellowship, will be here on Friday and
Saturday evening to provide programming for children from 4 years old through 6th
grade.
Childcare Availability
- Baby(0-2) and Toddler (2&3 yrs. old) - all sessions
- Children’s program (4yrs-6th grade) - Friday & Saturday sessions
Pre-registration Information
In order to better help us plan for our nursery, child programming, and conference
material needs, we would ask that you please pre-register for this conference by
April 6th. For pre-registration we will need the names of those attending
the conference, the names and ages of any children who will be coming, and a phone
