2010 Summer Camp at
Silver Birch Ranch

This summer, our kids, youth, and families at CBC have a great opportunity to go to camp at Silver Birch Ranch in Wisconsin. We have been sending our kids to camp at SBR for many years now, and they do a great job and provide a great experience for them.

Here are the 2010 summer youth camp dates that we have reserved spots for:

Junior Camp (completed 3rd-5th grade)
Middler Camp #1 (completed 5th-7th grade)
June 12th-18th; $340/person

Jr. High Camp #2 (completed 6th-8th grades)
July 17th-23rd; $340/person

Sr. High Camp #1 (completed 8th-12th grades)
July 24th-30th; $360/person

The total cost above includes a $75 registration fee that must be sent in with the application.

All registration forms & registration fees (made out to Silver Birch Ranch) must be turned in to CBC by March 17th for the camp dates listed above as well as to receive CBC Scholarships or Financial Aid. Availability is limited for each camp week. Spots will be given on a first come first serve basis.

If your child needs a ride to SBR, buses will be available through SBR. There is an additional cost of $25 (one way) or $40 (round trip). These buses will be leaving from Mt. Prospect.

If your child is regularly involved in any of our children or youth ministries at Central Bible Church and plans on attending SBR this summer, CBC will pay the bus fee for them. The child's parents do not have to be a member or regular attender of the church as long as the child is consistently involved in one of our children's or youth ministries. Please notify the church office if your child is riding the bus so that they can credit your account. If your child is not active at CBC, you will be responsible for paying the bus fees. You will need to indicate on your application if your child will be taking the bus.

Camp scholarships are available if your child completes his/her Awana book. These scholarships are applicable for 3rd-12th grade (T&T, Trek, and Journey). Scholarships will be assessed after the application and $75 registration fee are sent in. The scholarships are as follows - Completion of:
1st book - $25
2nd book - $35
3rd book - $45
4th-10th book - $55

If your family has further financial needs, please contact Don Sadler or Aaron Bonner. We want every child to have an opportunity for a summer camp experience.

Below are other youth and family camp dates at SBR this summer. While CBC will not be taking an organized group to these camps, some of these dates may work better for your family. Our Awana scholarships and bus fee scholarships also apply to these dates:

Jr. High #1 June 19-25
Middler #2 June 26-July 2
Family #2 July 2-7
Family #3 July 7-12
Family #4 July 12-17
Sr. High #2 July 31-August 6
