Mission Trip to Utah




July 30 through August 5

Our group will be building a nurse's station at a camp located near Miner's Peak in southwest Utah. The camp is 5 miles east of Cedar City on SR 14... then south on Right Hand Canyon road, a Utah scenic Back Way, approximately 17 miles.
If you get a topographical map, find Miner's Peak (elvation 9243 feet) in that vicinity, Cedar Mountain Retreat (CMR) is just north of that Peak about one half mile.

Cabins at CMR are 12x16, and sleep 8-10. Two cabins are larger (16x20) and sleep 12 to 14.

Tom Schmidt is coordinating the trip. Ron Thompson will be here for our Central Bible Church Missionary Conference in late March. Look for more information about a meeting with Ron on April 1.

Once it is installed you can do a search for Cedar City, Utah. If you use a view about 18,000 feet high and tilt the view, you will get a prospective on the rugged terrain we will be visiting.
