Being a parent is a HUGE responsibility. A parents emotions can go from that of being proud of your child and filled with joy to having great sorrow and being frustrated and angry - and that can all take place in ten minutes. But parenting is also a great privilege given to us by the Lord. And it is the parents' responsibility to disciple their children in the Lord.

"Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4 NIV

It is our desire at CBC to come alongside you as a parent in both our childrens and youth ministries as you look to fulfill your goal of seeing your children come to Christ and grow in Him. It is NOT our desire to take that responsibility from you. We also want to help train and equip you as a parent to be able to minister to your child.

We have put together a resource page that includes websites, books, and other resources that you might find helpful as a parent. It is our desire that these resources on this page could be used by you as tools as you equip yourself and train your child in the Lord.
