Summer Wednesday Nights

Our Wednesday night activities for the summer are for graduated 6th graders through graduated 12th graders. We combine all of our kids into one group for our summer Wednesday night program.

We meet every Wednesday beginning May 14th and ending on August 27th from 6:45- 8:15 p.m.

Our night is made up of 3 main times:

Activity: We usually play volleyball with a ginormous ball or we may have some other activity - for the most part though - volleyball. This takes place from 6:45-7:15 in the church parking lot.

Prayer: Prayer is a very important part of our lives as believers. After a quick snack and some fluids after volleyball, we take prayer requests and then break up into groups to pray for one another. This usually takes place from 7:20-7:45 p.m.

Bible Study: The Word of God should be central to every believer's life. This summer we are learning how to study the Bible by studying the book of Philippians together. Our Bible Study usually lasts from 7:45-8:15 p.m.

So that is the basic makeup of our Summer Wednesday Nights with our youth ministry at CBC. Our desire is that through this time we are building meaningful relationships with each other and most importantly with the Lord Jesus Christ.
